About Us
Randy and Julie Lewis have been heavily involved in the dog world for many years. Julie was on the board of directors for a non-profit animal rescue organization for a time. After that experience, she realized the importance of well bred, good tempered, healthy dogs. She has always loved animals but has a special place in her heart for Golden Retrievers. After many years in the banking industry, she decided to start a Golden Retriever breeding program, Alabaster Goldens in 2010. Both she and Randy have really enjoyed bringing joy and love to many families through their Golden Retrievers. We also love to compete in dog sports with our dogs and are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America as well as the Natural State Golden Retriever Club.
As pet owners ourselves, we understand the importance of your pets being safe and comfortable while you are away from them. That is why we are excited to start The Canine Lodge at Alabaster, a boutique style, in home dog boarding, dog daycare, and basic grooming business at our home in Little Rock, AR. We try to offer a home away from home experience for your dog. Your pet will spend their time playing in our fun artificial turf play yards, romping around on our several acres of fenced property during group walks, wading in our doggie pools, and relaxing in our dog living room.

DOG BOARDING

DOG DAYCARE

Mobile vet visit-we have the vet come visit your dog while they are at our home. We will facilitate the visit, i.e. set up appointment, meet with vet during visit. Our fee for this service is $30 plus the vet fees. You will pay the vet fee directly to the vet. Our mobile vet is Dr. Beka Lee with Ferndale Creek Mobile Vet.
